Research
What matters to me is talking to the client and finding out what matters to them. A project is a collaboration.
Design
I like looking and trying - what looks right, what works, and what missed. To really test that you have to build it for real and have it in front of you, at least a piece of it. That is the process: trying, looking, working towards it, comparing what holds up. So I build a piece and use it to see which way to go next.
Development
This is where it gets fun - what I imagined actually starts to live. And sometimes that means extra fixes and changes along the way, because building the real thing always surfaces what a sketch couldn't.
Handoff
I hand over the files and I'm around. Fixes, changes, carrying on together - just say the word.
