photography session
A personal exercise, mostly to push my post-processing further. I shot construction sites and ran them through a palette close to thermal imaging, where colour temperature starts to say something about whether you can get through or not.
Concrete, steel and wire mesh already say keep out on their own. Colour let me work against that and see how much of "this way is open" comes from the architecture itself and how much from the temperature it's shown in. Built up from several layers and collages.

A building site is the most literal version of "not for you" there is. Photographing it in false colour was a way of asking how much of that message is the place, and how much is just how we've been taught to read it.
